Recallbound is designed to work without an account or a data connection. Your decks, answers, and learning progress stay on your device.
The short version
Recallbound does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data. The app contains no advertising, analytics SDK, account system, or third-party tracking technology.
Data stored by the app
Recallbound stores your selected language, imported decks, discovered cards, answer history, mastery, settings, and current study-session state locally on your device. This information is used only to provide the app’s learning features. It is not sent to Recallbound or any third party.
Imported decks and media
When you choose a compatible .apkg package, Recallbound reads the package on your device so
you can map its fields and practice with the cards. The imported content remains local. Recallbound does
not upload or remotely inspect your files.
Network access
The first release of Recallbound does not require a network connection for its core features. Apple may independently process App Store purchases, downloads, and optional device diagnostics under Apple’s own privacy terms. Recallbound does not receive those optional diagnostics directly.
Children’s privacy
Recallbound does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children. Because no account or online profile is created, no child-directed personal data is requested by the app.
Deleting your data
You can remove imported decks within the app. Deleting Recallbound from your device removes the app’s locally stored data, subject to any device backup settings you control through Apple.
This website
This website uses no advertising or analytics. Its language switch stores only your chosen display language in your browser’s local storage. The hosting provider may keep ordinary security and delivery logs under its own terms.
